Plante herbacée, hermaphrodite, à tiges dressées, ramifiées au sommet, à poils assez rudes.
Feuilles alternes, simples, linéaires à oblongues, à une seule nervure saillante, à poils rudes surtout sur les bords, les inférieures pétiolées, les supérieures sessiles et dressées.
Fleurs à symétrie radiaire, jaunes, de 6 à 7 mm de long, à sommet du tube velu en dedans. Ovaire supère.
Fruits, 4 akènes brun pâle, verruqueux, à base à peu près plane.

Plant herbaceous, hermaphrodite. Stems erect, branched at the top, with rather hard hairs.
Leaves alternate, simple, linear to oblong, with only one protruding vein, with hard hairs mainly on the edges, the lower ones petiolate, the higher ones sessile and erect.
Flowers radially symmetrical, yellow, from 6 to 7 mm long, with the top of the tube very hairy inside. Ovary superior.
Fruits, 4 verrucose, pale brown achenes with an almost plane base.
